HOA Approved Storage

What happens when you run out of storage space inside your garage? If you’re like our customer Richard, you start hunting for a storage shed. He needed an HOA approved storage shed that could also function as a workshop.

With the HOA requirements and building codes in his neighborhood, Richard has some specific shed necessities. His new shed needed to be 6 feet deep, the paint needed to match his home, and pass permitting inspections. Aside from those local requirements, Richard and his wife had a few of their own as well.

“My wife didn’t want a metal shed and I wanted to have some space to have a workshop,” says Richard. “We noticed quite a few of our neighbors have Tuff Shed buildings so we decided to check them out.” When Richard and his wife stopped by the local Home Depot to tour a few display sheds, they were sold.

They chose a 12×6 SR-600, outfitted with exterior and interior customizations to fit everything on their list. “We could add windows, shelving and workbenches, and get a good sized shed for the space on our lot,” says Richard of his new shed.

Now that Richard is putting his shed to use, he couldn’t be happier with the process, “It worked out real well. The biggest hang-up was figuring out all the permitting but when we got that all set, Tuff Shed delivered exactly what we wanted.”
