Two of our building models at Tuff Shed at The Home Depot are getting a height increase. The KR-600 and SR-600 exterior sidewall heights will increase from 6’ to 6’4”. More height equals more space for outdoor storage, more room for seasonal items, or even more ways to organize your building.
We’re also introducing a new upgrade option—LP SmartSide with SilverTech Radiant Barrier . Tuff Shed has always been cool, but with our newest upgrade, your backyard building will be even cooler.

Benefits of the Exterior Wall Height Increase
The KR-600 and SR-600 are getting a little taller. To correspond with their new heights, their names will change too. The KR-600 is now the KR-640, and the SR-600 is now the SR-640. (Makes sense, right?)
A little extra height can make a big difference in your backyard building. The increased vertical space allows for more shelving and pegboard, along with more headroom. This is ideal for storing taller items from rakes to trimmers to larger equipment. That annoyingly long tree pruner that’s always a chore to store now has a home on your taller tool wall.
LP SmartSide with SilverTech Radiant Barrier Highlights
Tuff Shed proudly offers LP SmartSide siding on all of our backyard buildings. But now, LP SmartSide with SilverTech Radiant Barrier is available as an upgrade on Sundance Series® sheds and garages.
This product blocks the sun’s radiant heat from entering the building, allowing your Tuff Shed to stay cooler, brighter, and more comfortable. Who wouldn’t want that?
Whether you’re using your backyard building for a workshop, a garden shed, or anything between, this feature is an environmentally-friendly way to protect your Tuff Shed. The material is also moisture– and insect –resistant. (No bugs allowed.)

Same Great Features
These buildings may be taller, but they still have our favorite features. The KR-640 and SR-640 include ¾” interlocking premium OSB floor decking, our patented steel-reinforced shed door (placed on the end wall), and patented locking handle and heavy-duty hinges.
These buildings also have two top plates on sidewalls, a 4/12 roof pitch, and 2 x 4 rafters joined with steel plates. The KR-640 has 2 x 4 studs spaced 24” on-center, whereas the SR-640 has 2 x 4 studs placed 16” on-center. They don’t call us tough for nothing!
